Three Food Memories with Jamie Durie

Three Food Memories with Jamie Durie

What a perfect way to celebrate the first weekend of spring.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this very special Three Food Memories live recording with Jamie Durie and Savva Savas. We are deeply grateful to Jamie and Ameka for opening their spectacular sustainable home and garden masterpiece, a rare opportunity to experience this unique Riviera-inspired paradise in Avalon.

As part of a special Saint Cloche Atelier presentation, guests were immersed in an afternoon celebrating art, food and stories. Works by Tracey Deep, Evi O, Fiona Barrett Clark, Hannah Lange, Daimon Downey, Elliot Routledge, Justin ScivettiStacey Rees, Saxon Quinn and Astrid Salomon were woven throughout Jamie’s home in dialogue with its architecture and landscape.

This moment also felt beautifully full circle. A decade ago, Jamie was our guest speaker at Riviera, the very first end-of-year exhibition I curated at Saint Cloche. To be reunited here in Avalon, in his own Riviera paradise, made the occasion even more meaningful.

Our audience enjoyed sunset drinks by Stone & Wood and Irongate Estate wines, poolside amidst panoramic views and nature’s surrounds, and savoured exquisite flavours inspired by Jamie’s Three Food Memories.

A heartfelt thank you also to the Saint Cloche team for their incredible work behind the scenes, and to our friends at Studio Alm for the vibrant seating design.

The special episode will air in early October. Watch this space.

With gratitude,

Kitty Clark
Curator and Director, Saint Cloche
