Toni Clarke, an artist based in Northern Rivers, NSW, has exhibited her work since 2008, showcasing at esteemed venues like the Melbourne Art Fair and various Sydney galleries. Her artistic journey intertwines with her deep-rooted connection to the restaurant industry, which began at the age of 14 when she worked for a catering company to support her family. 

Having worked in restaurants across Sydney, London, and Byron Bay, including owning the renowned café Brown Sugar in Bondi, Toni's art reflects the vibrant energy of these culinary spaces. Inspired by her brother Sean Moran's iconic restaurant, Sean's, she channels her passion for fine dining into her artwork, notably through her series 'Ghost of the Roast,' featuring chickens painted on baking trays. 

Toni's diverse background as an actress in Sydney further enriches her artistic expression. Drawing from her experiences on stage, she infuses her paintings with theatrical storytelling, capturing the drama and excitement of restaurant life. Now a full-time painter, Toni brings to life the bustling atmosphere and cherished memories of restaurant life. Focusing on mark-making and the interplay of characters, her art resonates with audiences, evoking the joyous camaraderie and shared experiences of dining out.
