Saint Cloche presents The Way You Make Me Feel, a transformation of its first-floor Atelier by guest curator and interior designer Claudia Lambert. Conceived as the gallery’s end-of-year celebration, the exhibition brings a diverse, handpicked selection of Saint Cloche artists into a domestic setting, exploring how encounters with art are shaped by the spaces we inhabit.

The Atelier holds a personal history. In the gallery’s early years, it was home to Founder and Gallery Director Kitty Clark and her family. Lambert’s intervention returns domestic life to these rooms, reimagining them as an expressive pied-à-terre in her bold signature style.

The collaboration draws on decades of experience between Clark and Lambert across art, fashion, editorial styling and interior design. Their shared interests in nostalgia and culture inform a dialogue between two distinct practices, bringing a developed understanding of colour, material and space to the Atelier.

Opening in December, the exhibition places painting and sculpture alongside furniture, rugs, lighting and objects. Timber, tactile textiles and expressive colour establish a sequence of encounters in which each work retains its individual character while opening up new associations through proximity.

The rooms suggest a collection assembled over time, shaped by instinct, memory and personal attachment. Familiar forms take on different meanings; unexpected pairings invite a second look. Art becomes part of the daily rhythms of a home, encountered repeatedly and understood anew.

The Way You Make Me Feel invites visitors to consider the intimate relationships we develop with the things around us, and the capacity of art to bring curiosity, pleasure and connection to everyday life.

“Over the years, I’ve seen art, fashion and design become increasingly connected. Claudia and I share a curiosity about how these worlds inform one another, and this collaboration brings our different perspectives into play.”

“I want the rooms to feel personal, bold and full of discovery, with art at the centre. Unexpected combinations can stir a memory, spark curiosity or simply bring joy.”
