Saint Cloche is very proud to reveal Tracey’s latest, very personal body of work, ‘MOTHER NATURE’. There are many artists whose works are inspired by nature, and this is certainly the case with Tracey but her works spring forth from nature, through collecting on her travels, bushwalks, frequented markets and favourite suppliers. To some sculptures she will integrate the man-made, recycling, and repurposing discarded materials that the artist finds endlessly fascinating because of their texture, form, and rhythm.

This show is a tribute to Tracey’s mother and muse, who worked beside Tracey for many years, helping her create her botanical sculptures, as she continues her focus on honouring and trying to grow awareness of the importance of protecting Mother Earth through her art form.

Mother Nature

Mother Nature is my muse.

Mother Nature enriches and nourishes, creating a great sense of calm, gratitude, and appreciation.

Immersing oneself in nature is healing for the soul.

Mother nature’s restorative and purifying powers, her beauty and mystery, enhance our awareness of her sacred elements, gaining wisdom and an understanding of Mother Nature’s superpower, reconnecting to that inner place of peace.

Mother Nature connects our spirit, cultivates awakening, and an awareness of indigenous wisdom and culture.

Mother Nature is the source and guiding force of creation, she controls the weather and all living things. It’s most important to work with the law of nature rather than against it.

Living in full harmony and being respectful, of Mother Nature as our teacher, creates a balance in nature and all humanity.

The beauty of the natural world teaches us to take time to pause and look closely at nature’s delicate intricate patterns, playful lush textures, sculptural whimsical shapes, and unique palette of diverse tones.

In my heart Mother Nature is always planting seeds of happiness, creating music for those who listen, showering us all with poetic abundance and inspiring transcendence.

My exhibition “mother nature” is dedicated to and in honour of my beautiful mother “Mumma Deep”, my “tree spirit” whose roots run Deep within me. Showering us with her wisdom, nurturing us with her love and like “mother nature” is now at peace and in total harmony with her.

My mother, my lifetime apprentice, my teacher, with our interwoven connection, our rhythmic patternmaking, now my nature spirit whom I see at one with nature and now a part of me, the full circle of life, in total harmony with Mother earth. My Mother the gift that never stops giving, who’s magical light shines bright forever.”
