Jack Rodgers is a Queensland-based artist specialising in portraiture, transforming found photographs into evocative artworks that explore memory, nostalgia, and shared history. His work captures a longing for moments he has never lived but deeply connects with.
Rodgers holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from Griffith University Queensland College of Art, majoring in painting and drawing. His practice is rooted in meticulous research, drawing from archives such as the John Oxley Library and Queensland State Archives to construct layered narratives.
