Since establishing her studio in 2020, Salomon has dedicated herself to developing unique glazes and firing her work in her own kiln, fostering a process that embraces imperfection and individuality. Recipient of the 2023 Silicious Award for Ceramic Excellence in Queensland, Australia, Salomon continues to expand her practice with a focus on innovation and materiality. I’m fascinated by how we curate a way of looking out at the world while unprocessed emotions linger in the shadows. My work emerges from surrendering to an intuitive state, translating thoughts and emotions into physical form.
