16 – 27 September 2020
In these uncertain times it can be difficult to see the light and maintain positivity. In spite of the challenges, we invite you to work together in dreaming a new human story of connection, empathy, and compassion – not separation and fear. Togetherness and community are the ‘soothing salve’ where we find meaning and the courage to keep moving forward.
The Little Things Art Prize 2020 is an annual community event, established in 2015, with the goal to encourage shared reverence and celebration of the little things in life that make us feel good, bring joy and inspires feelings of gratitude. This now seems more important than ever! Now in its sixth year, LTAP2020 is a competition developed by local artist Marnie Ross and has been supported through the Woollahra Council & Cultural Grants Program. The competition welcomes submissions by artists with varying degrees of experience and motivates the local community to come together creatively.
Artists are invited to respond to the concept of the ‘little things’ in life that make them feel happy or grateful.
