‘Today We Escape’ is the latest body of work from Melbourne artist Stephen Baker. It continues an underlying theme of escapism using minimally conceived landscapes and the female form. Baker’s work invites you to look inside a world where materialistic ornamentation is stripped and only emotive gestures are left.
