30th August – 10th September 2017
FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
The Little Things Art Prize now in its third year, is a competition developed by local artist Marnie Ross and supported through the Woollahra Council & Cultural Grants Program. The competition welcomes submissions by artists with varying degrees of experience and inspires the local community to come together creatively.
Thank you to all the artists who submitted for the 2017 Little Things Art Prize, and congratulations to the finalists! Over 200 submissions were received, and the judges have chosen a selection of works from 100 artists, which will be exhibited from Wednesday the 30th of August through to Sunday the 10th of September.
Artists are invited to respond to the concept of the ‘little things’ in life that make them feel happy or grateful. We were delighted with last year’s turn out and are looking forward to bringing our creative community together again this Spring!
This year the wall work category has been judged by David Eastwood and Marisa Purcell, the ceramic works have been judged by Kim Anh-Nguyen and Jo Wood.
We have number of exciting events running throughout the Little Things 2017 Exhibition!

12PM LITTLE THINGS x EAT ART TRUCK
The EAT ART TRUCK will be serving up hot food from 12pm. Evi O, one of Saint Cloche’s favourite artists, has been busy painting a mural on the side of the truck for the event.
Evi O. is an award winning book designer and self-taught artist, with a curious eye and mind, she is constantly exploring and observing her surroundings. Evi O. has chosen to explore the explosive emotion of this “Crazy little thing called love”, through her signature style utilising bold shapes and colours.
