One of Sydney’s steamiest summer evenings made for a perfect Mediterranean soirée and Opening Event for our Grand Finalé group exhibition of 2015 ~ RIVIERA.
Guests were transported to the dreamy haze of the RIVIERA by potted cacti surrounds reminiscent of the iconic coastline, sweet strums of the spanish guitar and the evocative Mediterranean-inspired works of 13 artists.
It was a true honour to have International award winning designer & author Jamie Durie welcome all with a heartfelt opening speech. Jamie talked about how wonderful it was to return to Sydney to see old friends artists Tracey Deep, Evi O. grow into the talented artists they are today and meeting new ones. Jamie also commended Saint Cloche for creating a space that supports local art and the importance of keeping it alive. Thank you Jamie.
We would also like to thank our French event supporters Le Baron Des Spirits, Cire Trudon and all who attended our final opening event of the year, it was a very special evening indeed.
Merci beaucoup, grazie mille.
