THANK YOU all who came and joined us at the opening reception of A Day in the Country.
We were honoured to have acclaimed Australian author Frank Moorhouse open the event.
Frank talked about the connection that art has in bringing nature into our homes, from the evocative landscape paintings of Ali Wood to Drew Truslove’s drawings of cows grazing the pastures, Jamieson Lawrance’s ‘Rock Chooks’ that freely roam the fields and Adriana Christianson’s intricate paintings of the ‘Blue Bird’ on stoneware vessels.
