After finishing a printmaking major at art school in Lismore, Jordana now works and lives in the elemental north east coast of NSW (Byron Bay). Jordana’s works naturally take on the form of abstraction as she uses a variety of mediums to create marks that best explore notions of landscape, shape, emotion and colour.

The Brazilian landscape is about contrasts, where the sleek, seductive aesthetic of the minimal forms implemented in Oscar Niemeyer’s architectural designs meet with the bright, rugged unforgiving colours and textures of the Brazilian beachside ghettos. This creates an explosion of sensory experience that celebrates the passion synonymous with Brazilian culture.
